The Arlington EAP is seeking a part-time (20-25 hrs. weekly, with benefits) EAP professional to join our small, internal team.  Requirements are:

Certification or eligibility for certification as an EAP Professional.  Master's degree in mental health field from an accredited college or university.  Licensure or eligibility in a mental health field or equivalent.  Minimum of five years of clinical experience in the EAP field.  Certification or eligibility as an addictions counselor.  Experience in developing emergency preparedness plans for mental health response.  Experience in treatment of trauma and trauma-related issues.  Experience working with first responders.  Experience working with a highly diverse population.  Experience in working in organizational settings which provide the opportunity to work on human resource issues, such as workers' compensation, sexual harassment, ADA, FMLA, and health insurance benefits.  Experience developing and implementing integrated programs and resources to improve the health and well-being of employees.  Comprehensive knowledge of community resources, including 12-step recovery programs.  Knowledge of federal and state requirements governing controlled substance testing and EAPs.  Familiarity with automated EAP systems and statistical reporting.  Training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).  Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
